Rex Richards makes TUF 10, but has to pull out due to injury.
Rex Richards a former NFL offensive lineman turned MMA fighter is one of the top
up and comer's at KO Dynasty. At 8-2 and going 2-0 in Strikeforce Rex has only
lost to UFC stud Shane Carwin, and a recent fight with Darrill Schoonover who is
13-0. Rex cut nearly 100 pounds to heavyweight which affected him during his
fight with Darrill Schoonover which was Rex's first fight at heavyweight after
the move from super heavyweight. Rex made the TUF 10 show which is featuring 4
other NFL players, and Kimbo Slice.
Unfortunately the Sunday before Rex was flying to Vegas for the show he had a
injury to his MCL which pulled him off the show just days before the show. The
injury does not require surgery, but will require 4 weeks of rehab. Now coming
off his rehab he will be facing former UFC/PRIDE fighter Pat Smith June 27th at
5150 combat league in Sparks, Oklahoma.
