Kit Cope
Kit Cope is a 4-time World Muay Thai Kickboxing Champion and mixed martial artist.
He bagain martial arts his junior year of high school and has fought in 12
countries around the world, including China, Japan, and Thailand. Kit lives in
Las Vegas where he owns and operates 2 gyms. He is also a personal trainer and
manages and trains other fighters.

He has a Weekly TV show out on SPIKE TV this week called the Wild World of Spike
and the show is supposed to be off the charts crazy and funny. Spike is now shown
in 10Õs of millions of home in the USA. Kit is also on Sirius Sattelite Radio
Sports call in show about once every two weeks on his friend, Jason EllisÕ show.
He has another show coming out either on Spike or MTV this year.
He is fighting January 20th, 2007 in Las Vegas for the WEC Light Weight Title
At The UFC Season 2 finale at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Kenny Florian scored
perhaps the most impressive victory of his UFC career, submitting four-time World
Muay Thai champion Kit Cope with a rear naked choke at 37 seconds of the second
round. The high energy UFC fight kicked off the night at the opening seconds.
Cope had won his last two MMA fights on the ground and had been working hard on
his ground game for the last couple of years. He even got the help of UFC fighter
Dean Lister, MMA veteran Dennis Hallman and former UFC Champ Tito Ortiz to help
him with his grappling. Kit Started Fighting in the UFC in 2005 and has made his
way to fight for the WEC(owned by UFC) lightweight belt. He has a Weekly TV show
out on SPIKE TV called the ÒWild World of SpikeÓ and the show is off the charts
crazy and funny. Spike TV is now shown in 10Õs of millions of home in the USA.
Kit is also on Sirius Satellite Radio Sports call in show about once every two
weeks on his friend, Jason EllisÕ show. He has another show coming out either on
Spike or MTV later this year. WILD WORLD OF SPIKE follows its three hyperactive
hosts as they watch bizarre sporting events from around the world and then try
them out at home. In each episode, four-time World Muay Kickboxing Champion Kit
Cope, professional skateboarder Jason Ellis, and comedian Sam Tripoli view and
make fun of extreme and/or odd sporting events from across the globe. Kit was
featured on MTVÕs True Life I'm a Muay Thai Fighter the show is created by
following a series of subjects by a camera crew through a certain part of their
life. True Life is a documentary series running on MTV from 1998 to the present.
Brash and outspoken, Kit has a huge personality that causes fans to love him or
hate him. ItÕs that same charisma that has drawn documentary attention to KitÕs
career, as heÕs been featured on E! Entertainment Television, F/X, ESPN, MTV,
Spike TV, FOX and Fox Sports. Kit also is the subject of two different TV
documentaries: The Discovery ChannelÕs ÒCasino DiariesÓ (chronicling KitÕs brief
foray into pro boxing) and the highly rated MTV special "True Life: IÕm a Muay Thai Fighter."
Currently, Kit is the co-host of the new Spike TV series "The Wild World of Spike."
