I first began with jiu-jitsu in 2000. I trained at East West martial arts in canton MI in affiation with the Machado brothers. I was hooked, I lived, breathed, and
ate jiu-jitsu. I soaked up everything that anyone taught me. After a few months I got my blue belt during a machado seminar. I wanted to compete, so my first match
was set up and it would be one match unlike a tournament. I won that fight in 12 sec I knew then that was my calling. After a few more months and a few more
grappling matches in naga and oter events held around the area. I got my purple belt and was asked to fight a light weight title holder in ohio I took the fight
and won with a choke I have had the belt since. My career took off from there. I have fought many well known guys such as Mac Daniz, tnt Tyler Jackson, Joe
Pierson, Alberto Crane, Thomas Shulte, and Jeff Curran. I have a school here in St Augustine Fl. were I have a few fighters.
